I couldn’t be more thrilled that you’re here, and I’ll promise you up front that this is a safe space. This is a space to learn, a space to grow, a space to be weak, and a space to find renewed hope and strength in these earthly bodies. This is a space where we’ll laugh together, we’ll cry together, and we’ll grow together. Above all, this is a space where we’ll seek to walk toward healing together by cultivating wholeness in our lives—in mind, body, and soul.
You’ll find that we care a lot about wellness and wholeness around here, but that involves a lot more than just stewarding our bodies well. Wellness is, and will always be, about the whole person—her physical nature, her emotional nature, and her spiritual nature. Check out this post if you want to read a little bit more about why I believe wellness matters.
Together, I hope that we can discover what it means to live a healthy, holistic, and mindful life. I want us to become women who care for our hearts, minds, bodies, and souls like they deeply matter. I want us to become women who engage with our own stories and who recognize that wholeness is intricately woven into those stories. And I want us to become women who love and give fiercely. But we can’t do that if we don’t care well for ourselves.
Why Walk Toward Healing?
My own journey toward healing has been born out of a slow, ongoing battle with chronic illness. For years, I walked the tightrope of trying to put on a smile and quietly manage my vague (but debilitating) chronic symptoms. But I was hardly getting by. I lived within cycles of striving, stress, exhaustion, and denial, and I felt like a shadow of my old self. When my health began to approach its worst—when I had to quit my job, relocate, and generally “press pause” on my life—I knew that something needed to change on a foundational level.
That’s when I began to shift my focus from “just getting by” (managing my symptoms poorly, ignoring the needs of my body and my soul, living in perpetual pretending) to holistic healing and wellness. And what I’ve learned is that this perspective shift isn’t just for the chronically ill.
Every one of us is broken. We’re all weary. We all groan from the pains of this life, and we ache for what is yet to come. So, whether we’re physically ill or whether brokenness has touched our lives in some other way, each one of us has a fundamental need for healing. That means caring well for our bodies—prioritizing health, rest, movement, and nourishment. That means caring well for our hearts and souls—learning what it means to grow from our own stories and pain, pausing to see the beautiful moments in our day to day. And that means caring well for our relationships—cultivating an authentic community and practicing vulnerability before others and the Lord.
What You’ll Find Here
If you decide to stick around the blog, here’s a glimpse at what you’ll find:
Healing: Reflections on pursuing holistic healing as a lifestyle perspective. Stories about striving for wholeness amidst brokenness. Inspiration (and occasionally some practical tips) for living a healthy, naturally-based life. Encouragement to care well for our minds and our bodies.
Nourish: Thoughts on what it means to nourish our bodies well. Reflections on the importance of mealtimes—for nutrition, wholeness, and fellowship. And (from time to time) practical tips on dietary lifestyle shifts, profiles on power foods and nutrients, and clean recipes.
Soul Care: Reminders of God’s provision in the joys and in the sorrows. Glimpses of the beauty in the everyday, the mundane. Stories that will warm your heart. Encouragement for a richer emotional and spiritual life.
Community: Stories of healing and wholeness in the context of our relationships and community. Encouragement toward fostering depth and vulnerability to cultivate more authentic relationships. Reflections on walking with others through burdens and suffering.
I can’t promise that the healing will be easy. And I can’t promise that it’ll be perfect. But I can promise you that there will be joy and fullness along the way and that we won’t be in it alone. I hope you’ll grab a cup of tea, cozy up, and stay a while.

I love your focus! I have taken a similar journey only more for my fertility after a miscarriage. I had no idea I wasn’t taking as good care of my body until the Lord helped show me the healing in holistic health and wellness.
Beautiful site too by the way.
